Pictures, Pictures, Pictures!!

Everyone,

Hey!!! Sorry for the shorty email last week but we had a crazy day!! Man i dont even know where to start to catch everyone up on these last 2 weeks.

I cut open a coconut with a machete. Melissa got baptized. Went to Tepoztlan. Had a mexican Krabby Patty. Melissa bought us a personalized cake. yeah. Its been busy.

So we still havent been able to really talk to the son of that family we baptized like a month ago. Hes been working like crazy and we just want to meet with him! Kind of frustrating... Besides that we havent really got to teach many new people.

I think this week we are going to do a pure contacting day to get as many people to teach as we can. My comp said he did that before and got like 85 contacts in 1 day which is a ton. I would want to do it in some of the pueblos that we dont really have like anyone to teach there just to get our name out and hopefully find some people who are ready for the gospel!

Ive also been getting a ton better at Futbol! im like pretty dang good now. plus im tall and long so i get to suprise all the little mexicans here haha. We really want to play basketball with them and just school them haha.

Lets see.... spanish is going good. Slowly but surely its coming. I really just need to talk more. I kind of hope that my next companion is latino so i can learn how to say more than getting to know people and gospel stuff in spanish haha.

Well i really hope everyone is doing good! I love to hear about all the little things of how people are and whats going on. Sometimes you forget theres a life outside of my little part of mexico.

The best advice i can give to anyone is to really dive into the book of mormon. That is one of my favorite things about the mission is the time we get every morning to just study. Ive been going through one specifically marking it for things that call my attention as cool things or things i want to improve. It really makes it personal and applicable. But thats just me!

I love you all and take care!!

  1. I want to do the hike and I also want to yell, "Be careful with the machete!" :)
