Mother's Day Skype

Everyone,

Hey!! 

So yesterday I got to talk to my family!! It was super cool and it felt like being back home but at like college or something. I didn’t feel like we talked a ton about stuff for the mish but that’s okay because it was a good break from that and to be able to just hang out with the family for a bit. Then the Hermana that we were with told us that she was going like super soon and just kicked me off out of the blue!! Oh well.

So life has been pretty busy here! We switched areas with the other sisters that share the ward so we have a whole area to learn this week and other stuff that awaits us in that. It was for a few reasons. The area we were in was a lot safer and closer to a lot of the members for the sisters if anything happens. The other reason is for security. People here always harass the sisters and it’s sad, that’s why we moved there instead of them.

I also got a new companion! His name is elder Moreno from like northernish mexico. Its gonna be interesting to have another mexican companion but it will help my spanish a lot. Theres just a lot of differences that you have to overcome. Besides all that life is good. I feel guided and like I’m doing good work. 

We had our leadership council last week and its cool to see how closely ran the mission is. The president is awesome and he gets direction from the area presidency who reports to elder oaks from the 12.. pretty close. Anyways I just feel the inspiration we feel here. It’s such a cool experience.
