Everyone,
Hey! So still no baptism... We had the interview last week
though with
Enedina who is going to be baptized THIS week. We hope. She
is
honestly a miracle all in one. Through the experience
teaching her its
taught me about service, patience, God’s influence in the
lives of
EVERYONE even those who aren’t members or whatever. God
prepared us to find her and to receive our message. She’s actually
excited for her baptism. She has a mountain of family problems
especially with her husband right now and is just looking to
get away. She sees baptism now as she should as a help for
her in everything.

Anyways another lady we met this week was Alicia. They call
her Dona
Licha. She was a reference from a member from like over a
month ago.
when I sent those pictures of me by like a countryside was
when we
went the first time to look for her but then this week we
called her
up and went with her too. She’s really cool and I’m pretty
sure she will
get baptized. She went to church yesterday and we visited
her after
and cleared up some questions she had about it. It was super
cool.
Well today is the last day of President Kusch! Super weird. I’ll
see
him again but it’s just weird that he’s leaving. Today we
get President
Avila from Guanajuato or some state like that. Ill meet him Wednesday.
I hate this internet.. I just finished this and it erased
it.
So basically the mission until the new president gets here
will be
kind of confused. He won’t know us yet but I know he’s gonna
come with
some cool ideas and it will be good.
So I saw on lds.org that supreme court decision on gay
marriage.
Honestly it was predicted. The constitution was an inspired
document
but just like the bible being handled without prophets was
changed the
same has happened with the constitution. I was reading in Mosiah
this
last week and I liked a part that talked about the
organization of the
reign of the judges. The purpose was that there would be no one
to
oblige them to do what’s right and that every person would
be
responsible for their own decisions. That’s kind of how I
saw the
churches reply to it. The church won’t baby us or force us
to do what’s
right. We will be taught what’s right and expected to follow
what we
are taught but have the choice not to.
Anyways this last week went well. We had a lot of people in
church and
are seeing progress.
I love you all! Keep the prayers going.
Have a good week!!
Love Elder Marrott
