Rubi's Baptism, Seattle like weather, and Ready to Work!

Everyone,

Hey! This week was busy..

So this week was the anniversary of those 43 students kidnapped, murdered and buried in a mass grave... There were supposed to be a ton of protests and stuff and this Saturday we couldn’t leave the house. We actually haven’t heard about anything that has happened.. It’s been like overcast and the weirdest weather of my mission here though for like 3 days. I think God answered someone’s prayer and sent the rain to put a stop to the protesters. It’s the group Ayotzinapa that was supposed to be super mad and like burning buildings but all I’ve heard about is a bunch of government workers blocking off streets for protests of money.. Anyways I’ve seen every single one of the Sunday school church movies. They’re cool but I am just soo ready to work this week. Harder than ever in my mission.

This week Rubi got baptized!!! Sunday morning before our services I baptized her. She’s sooo coool. She really has gained a testimony and we have seen her repent so much and want to follow this path. She’s pretty stubborn sometimes but she has learned to trust in God. I’m grateful to have met her and felt the spirit with her.

This week Litzi should finally get baptized and also possibly Karen. I’m really excited for Litzi especially. It’s like almost been too long of a wait for her to have been baptized. She’s been ready basically since the first day she had contact with the church. I’m glad he will finally get what she wants and has worked so hard for. This will be a good week.

I love you all.. Your support and prayers don’t go unappreciated. Have a great week and say hi to a missionary for me!

Elder Spencer...these boys love their food,
they take enough pictures of it!

It has been unseasonably cool and rainy.
Elder Marrott compared it to Seattle weather!!
